The District of Columbia Tobacco Directory provides a current listing of the cigarette brands that may be lawfully sold in the District of Columbia.  The Office of the Attorney General is responsible for criminal and civil prosecution of tobacco product wholesalers and retailers that sell cigarettes in the District of Columbia that are not listed on the Tobacco Directory.
